ANDRITZ Tissue Paper Production Line at MG TEC Industry in Romania Delivers Top Quality Repeat Order


The international technology group ANDRITZ has successfully completed all the performance tests of the PrimeLineCOMPACT tissue paper production line delivered turnkey to MG TEC Industry for its factory in Dej, Romania.

Based on this success, we have placed a new order with the same delivery volume and are looking forward to its installation.’

The energy-efficient PrimeLineCOMPACT toilet tissue machine with a design speed of 1,900 m/min and a paper width of 2.85 m produces high-quality tissue paper grades. It includes an ANDRITZ PrimeFlow headbox with on-the-fly jet angle adjustment, vacuum pressure roller with drive side exhaust to ensure easy felt and roller changes, 15ft roller. PrimeDry Steel Yankee for energy efficient and safe operation, PrimeDry Hood G gas heated Yankee hood, PrimeDustEXT dust extraction system and PrimeMistEXT mist extraction system.

ANDRITZ’s scope of supply also included:

A pulping line including an approach flow and brokens processing system: Proven TwinFlo disc refining technology is used in a separate long fiber line to achieve optimum development of fiber properties. The approach flow system features the ANDRITZ ShortFlow concept, which allows for minimal equipment and very low storage volume as well as fast grade changes at the tissue machine.

WeCare Prime forming fabrics and StrataPress press felts for high dryness and energy savings plus two Polysoft PU suction pressure roller coatings for efficient machine throughput and helping to achieve time intervals targeted operations.

An ANDRITZ Metris UX platform for real-time monitoring of energy consumption and efficiency, plus enhanced process tools to optimize production and ensure the highest quality control: All jobs maintenance and post-start optimizations can be performed via the Metris Performance Center located at the ANDRITZ headquarters in Graz, Austria.
