Sococim Industries chooses Fives for its new clinker production line


Fives FCB and Sococim Industries (Vicat group) have signed a contract for the supply of the new 6,500 tpd clinker production line at the Rufisque plant in Senegal. The President of Sococim Industries, Mr. Youga Sow, selected Fives’ engineering and equipment for this new installation.

For this new line project, Sococim Industries wanted to implement the best technologies and international standards to ensure the greatest flexibility of the workshops and maximize the performance of the new installation, particularly in terms of the use of alternative fuels and efficiency. energy.

The new line will incorporate the latest Fives technologies in pyroprocessing and gas treatment, such as: FCB preheater, FCB In-Line Preca™, FCB furnace, Fives TGT® Filter, Raider Novaflam®to meet the operational needs of Sococim Industries:
• Better quality of the finished product
• Low calorific consumption
• Flexibility and efficiency of pyroprocess technologies to replace up to 70% of total fuel with alternative fuels, while maintaining operational stability
• Fully automated pyroprocess control including start and stop sequences
• Low dust and NOX emissions

Efficient project management and comprehensive customer service

To better support Sococim Industries in carrying out this project while respecting quality, deadlines and performance, Fives will bring its experience and know-how as a supplier of high-performance process equipment. Fives will also apply the high level standards developed in terms of project management. After commissioning, Fives will provide Sococim Industries with long-term support, including dedicated skills and resources: theoretical and practical mechanical and process training, monitoring, remote or on-site technical assistance, etc.
